Disc-Golf is an evolutionary game that calls upon the player's observation, thinking and adaptability skills. It is open to an intergenerational public, discoverers, amateurs or professionals, for leisure or competition. This discipline is played with " Discs " (Frisbees type) with variable properties, according to the rules of Golf.
The "Hole" is made up of a tee, or "Tee", and a target called the "Basket". |

DISC GOLF RULES

The aim of the game is to complete the entire course in a minimum number of throws.
The "PAR", indicated on the scorecard, represents the performance to be achieved in order to put the disc in the basket. Any additional throws are to be counted as a penalty point. Example: on a PAR 3, reaching the basket in 4 throws = +1. Conversely, reaching the basket in 2 throws = "Birdie" or -1. Each player takes a first throw from the starting tee and restarts play from where the disc has landed (the Lie). It is always the player whose Disc is furthest from the basket that plays. |
The rule is not to touch anything in the environment, but rather to go around obstacles (branches, bushes, trees...) and to follow the instructions for each "Hole" in order to stay in the authorised area. Throwing out of bounds (Fairway) is equivalent to making an OB (out of bounds) and costs +1. The player continues his game from the place where the Discus is out of bounds.
A Mandatory is a mandatory pass. Not respecting it costs 1 point (+1). To restart the game, move back to the "drop zone" (drop zone), at the level of the markings. The winner is the one who scores the fewest points at the finish. (http://www.mesactivitesnature.com/fr/disc-golf/) |
